The Owl's Nest was clean, comfortable, and just the right space for our family of 6! We appreciated the locally roasted coffee, comfy beds, and ample linens. I enjoyed sitting out on the porch drinking my coffee and looking at the lake in the morning!

This place cozy and comfortable, great distance from all the events we wanted to go to and we felt right at home during our stay!!! Would definitely recommend to others and definitely want to stay again!!!

We had a great time at the Feather Nest Inn! The location was perfect and we could easily walk to restaurants and shops in 5 minutes. The kitchen had everything we needed for making meals. We stayed here for 3 nights as a family of 6 with 4 little kids and it had enough space for everyone. Highly recommended.

We stayed one night and all was smooth regarding our stay:
Great communication from host.
Easy to find and access.
There was off-street parking for my vehicle and trailer with canoes.
Easy access by foot to Lake Superior and restaurants.
Some seating available for an evening drink and views of the lake.

Lovely! Great location. Loved the shower and provided bathroom amenities after hiking all day. Bed was comfy. The entire room was clean and absolutely perfect. Walkable to Lake Superior, an adorable boardwalk and so much good food! We cannot wait to come back!

We could walk to the places we wanted to go, which was important to us. Our accommodation was clean and bed was comfortable.

Sweet cozy spot with nice touches including local handmade soaps, Fika coffee, and some-things-we-all-forget-to-pack-at-times.
Really good use of space, really clean, and you can roll down the hill to the Angry Trout.

The house had everything we needed for a one night stay in Grand Marais. Great location and walkable to the water and the downtown area. Loved all the local goods the place is stocked with!

We’re stayed here three or four times and love it! It’s great for our young family as we can make some meals and walk everywhere in town. We particularly appreciate the refillable products (dish soap, coffee, shampoo etc) as a way to reduce single use plastic. Jourdan was quick to fix a small issue in the unit when we requested it.

Wonderful stay at the Owl’s Nest!
We booked one night for a speedy north shore roadtrip while my parents were visiting Minnesota.
We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the space and definitely plan to use this location for future, and hopefully longer, trips up north!
