This is my 3rd or 4th time staying here. Once again, it was absolutely wonderful. This is THE best place to stay in Grand Marais. Don't miss out on the feathernest inn!

Great location - just a block or so from the lake and a short walk to most of the shops downtown. Unit is part of a completely renovated small motor motel - very well appointed and nicely decorated. Only minor issue as others have noted, the walls are a bit thin. This was not a big issue but we could definitely hear the neighbors when they were moving around. I would not call this a big deal but just an FYI.
