We could walk to the places we wanted to go, which was important to us. Our accommodation was clean and bed was comfortable.

We highly enjoyed staying at the Loon's Nest. It was cozy and perfect for our anniversary getaway! We could easy walk to downtown shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Rented the Loon’s Nest for three nights. It was a great peaceful space and close to the down town area. We were able to walk everywhere in the downtown area in about 10 minutes.

First time visitor to Grand Marais. I spent a wonderful weekend carving wooden kitchen utensils at the North House Folk School just a block away from The Feather Nest Inn. Jourdan's place is quiet, comfy, and equipped with everything you probably forgot to bring. I appreciate their dedicated commitment to zero waste, their support of local vendors, and their delightfully cheeky encouragement to seek out adventures by remaining curious. If you know, you know.
